Modern Apple® MacBook® and Ultrabooks™ aren’t able to connect to the internet using a LAN cable, as there is no LAN port provided. This converter provides a solution by converting a USB port to a ethernet port. With the combination of USB 3.0 and Gigabit ethernet, it maximises the data transfer speed. Plug and play installation, backward compatible with USB 2.0, and supports suspend mode and remote wake up via links and magic packs. It will also handle jumbo packets up to 9kB, and the MDIX feature automatically detects straight or cross network cables.
